The 2007 Cops on Doughnut Shop at Krispe Kreme is scheduled for the weekend of March 9-11, 2007. The Marietta Police Department is once again participating. As all of you know, this has been a very successful fundraiser for Special Olympics Georgia for the last three years. In 2004 we raised $20,000. In 2005 we raised $14,000 and in 2006 we raised almost $25,000. Our goal this year is to raise $30,000! 

All of the City/BLW employees have been very generous with their encouragement, assistance and contributions in the past. We need your help again this year! Commander Ferrell & I will again park ourselves on the roof of the Krispe Kreme for the weekend. However, we need your help to make this event a success. We are also having a doughnut eating contest on Saturday at 5pm for children 12 and under and at 5:30pm for adults.  I would like to see some of you come out and beat Marty Ferrell!
