Chattahoochee Technical College
Fire Science Degree
Summer Quarter starts July 6th 2009
Fire Science Classes will Prepare you for Promotion
Course related field trips, face to face contact and networking with other local departments are key to your learning experience. See attachment for class choices and times.
Chattahoochee Technical College will be offering several options to the Fire Science Degree Program starting July 6 2009. Almost all of the Fire Science classes are Hybrid. You will have 2 hours per week of on campus, face to face contact with instructor and students and also be responsible for 2 -3 hours of class work off campus through the internet per week. This will help each student with less time on campus or more classes attended while on campus. We will offer 2 different classes in a row on Monday or Tuesday mornings and Monday or Tuesday nights so that you can knock 2 classes out in 1 day. Remember that our classes are fire friendly. You will be able to attend on your day off meaning the classes are on back to back days. All new students must register before June 19, 2009 to be eligible for July 2009 classes. Attached is a list of classes offered next quarter. We will also be offering a class in Cherokee County on Wednesday or Thursday mornings and Tuesday or Thursday nights. Registration is now open. You must fill out an admission packet; order your high school and/ or college transcripts, possible entrance test and sign up for financial aid before June 19th. Please contact me for more information.
