Hello Everyone!

GCISF is planning a Golf Tournament/Awards Banquet/Silent Auction to be held on Friday, October 16, 2009 at The Golfers' Club at Fort McPherson. WE NEED YOUR HELP!! We need to pass around the information and get players registered AND we need to find Sponsors for the 18 holes, putting green and driving range. Additionally, we need to get businesses/individuals/agencies to donate items for our Silent Auction. Some of the items that do well at Silent Auctions are hotel stays, restaurant gift certificates, spa certificates, golf certificates-----and just about anything else you can think of! If all of us work together then we can make this a huge success and be able to raise funds needed for the continued work of GCISF.

I am attaching a letter with all of the information and a registration form (2 pages). Please print them out and begin taking them to businesses, and putting them anywhere you can. If any of you can, please put copies up at other golf clubs, as this is a great way to get other golfers to sign up.

Be sure and remind everyone that this may be their final opportunity to play golf at Ft. McPherson due to the base closure in 2011. There are many golfers who have always wanted to play there, so now is their opportunity.
