Smyrna Police "Ride to Arrest Cancer & Picnic in the Park Benefit

On Saturday, August 21st several friends and co-workers are teaming up to raise money and help members of the Smyrna Police Department who are battling different forms of cancer. These officers are currently undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments. We will be hosting a police escorted motorcycle ride through scenic Cobb and Douglas County. Following the ride there will be a picnic at Cobb Park located on Sanford Pl between Bank Street and Powder Springs Street. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be served by members of the Smyrna Police Department. 100% of proceeds raised will be given to the Smyrna Police Dept. personnel who have been diagnosed with cancer to help with medical expenses.
