As a former employee of the Georgia Department of Transportation H.E.R.O. Unit, I received training as a: State Certified First Responder, in Incident Response Management, Hazmat, Defensive Driving, Preventive Maintenance, Push Bumper, Crash Victim Extrication, and much more.

The H.E.A.R.T. Unit will provide assistance to departments in the ways of traffic control, lock-outs, jump starts, vehicle relocation, gas delivery, tire changes, etc...and would be available to your on-duty patrol officers. We would like to provide these services to you department so that the Uniform Patrol Division will no longer be tied up on these types of non-life threatening calls, being able to respond to more important and emergency calls. And also to assist the officers in clearing the roadways of debris, vehicles, etc...

The H.E.A.R.T. Unit is equipped with all the necessary equipment, lights, sirens, loud speaker, medical supplies (if needed), the appropriate permits, flares, and is distinctly marked as an Official Response Unit. Our unit currently has a valid business license in the City of Woodstock.
