Many of you are aware of FAO Scott Daniell (Atlanta Fire) Air #7/A-shift, because his position permits or requires that you have personal contact with him, Scott has served all of us, not only with air bottles and SCBA quick fixes etc., but most importantly he serves us with kindness, Professionalism, and most of all a true love for the Fire Service. Scott needs our service now, as he battles Cancer. Scott will be aggressively attacking cancer with chemo and radiation for 30 days and surgery will follow, this will not be easy for him and his Family. Scott's Wife, Avora, will need our help, in order for her to assist him in this fight she will be taking him to many doctor visits and caring for him ,which will not allow her to bring in the funds they need for day to day expenses.
I understand these are serious financial times for us all, and there are many of us in different situations. I am asking the BROTHERHOOD to come together and support this Fine Man and his family and make this difficult situation a little easier to overcome. At Station #1/A we are simply paying $2.00 extra a shift for dinner with those proceeds going in a kitty for Scott. If each of us gave .50 cent to $1.00 a Shift it will quickly add up and take some burden off of Scott and his Family. The Chaffin brothers Chris #10/A and Jeff @ #14/A are assisting us with purchasing T-Shirts for $2.00 each and printing a design on them free of charge the only cost to produce these shirts will be the $2.00 and we will sell these shirts with all proceeds to go to Scott Daniell, The Artist has the design now and production will soon start.
Many of you know Scott well and understand that he is a very proud MAN and probably too proud to ask for this sort of help. I am requesting that these measures we are taking ,not be mentioned to him I will follow up from time to time on his status and well being . Scott has stated that it is great to hear from us all and he continues to come by the Station and have Coffee.
Please feel free to Contact myself or any Station #1/ A members for information or concerns.
An Account has been established @ any Bank of America Location you can make donations to the:
DANIELL SCOTT FAMILY ASSISTANCE FUND

As you may recall, FF Donald Bell (Cobb County Fire) and his family of 5 suffered a total loss of their home in a house fire in Talking Rock, GA. If any of our folks want to donate money (the best way to help at this point), they can do so at any United Community Bank branch. The family has received many donations of baby furniture and clothes, but the lack of storage is an issue.
To find a United Community branch, click on the following link:

My name is Kevin Hook I work with the Alpharetta Fire Department and I am looking for a nanny. I can afford between $80-$120 a week, budget permitting. My daughter goes to Powder Springs Elementary and would need to be taken to and from. And of course on duty days it would be overnight. I can drop her off at about 6am on duty days and can have her in ASP at school until 6pm I have roughly the next two weeks covered. Please help!!!! I'm in need of a blessing and I hope you can help me find a mom and maybe some kids to play with. My daughter's name is Faith and she is beautiful, well mannered, and smart.
Thanks so much for your help.
Kevin, 678 488 2036.
