White Chili

 

Ingredients;

 

2lbs ground beef

1 package taco seasoning

1-2 onions

2 cloves garlic

2 jalapenos (to taste) remove seeds for milder flavor

1 16oz sour cream

2 bags 9oz frozen white shoe peg corn

2 4oz cans chopped mild green chilies

2 cans great northern beans

1 can black beans

2 limes

1 16 oz bag "Mexican cheese"

1 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

3 tomatoes

1 jalapeno

Chopped Cilantro to taste (usually three tablespoons)

Hot sauce

 

Preparation;

 

Cook beef, half the onion, half the garlic, and half the jalapenos add taco seasoning.  In large pot add rest of onion, garlic, jalapenos, sour cream, corn, beans, green chilies, juice from 1 lime, salt, pepper and cumin.  Add beef mixture and simmer for 30 minuets.  Serve with chips, cheese, diced jalapenos, hot sauce, diced tomatoes and limejuice.
